Loving companion and sweetheart of Janet Zaballa; faithful father of Jeanette (John) Sheehan, John (Sue), Jim (Chris), Jeff (Chris), Jack (Cathy), and Joe (Debby) Hoeflich; treasured grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of three; beloved brother of Joan (late Walter) Masnyk, Barbara (late Joseph) Bopp, Carol (Robert) Danaher, Peter (Phuong) Hoeflich and Bill (late Jody) Hoeflich. He was well loved and a contributor to the lives of many. Memorial visitation will be held Friday March 17, 2017 from 3:00p.m.- 9:00p.m. Drake and Son Funeral home 5303 N. Western Ave. Chicago, IL. Prayers from funeral home, 9:45 a.m., Saturday Memorial Mass 10:30a.m. St. Matthias Church, 2310 W. Ainslie St., Chicago. Inurnment Rosehill Cemetery.
