William M. Morales, mechanical engineer for Northwestern Railroad, World War II USAFFE veteran and POW, died peacefully on March 6, 2013 with his family by his side. He was born in Cantapoy, Seurigao del Norte in the Philippines on February 10, 1919 to Ignacio and Rufina Morales. He was married to Felicidad Roberto Morales on January 23, 1948 and they had seven children: Emmanuel (Virginia), Catalina (Alberto, deceased) Bargas, Antonio (Rachel), Teresita (Earl) Culp, Maria Corazon, Maria Socorro and William Jr. (Lorelei). He was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be open...

He was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be open to the public on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 N. Western, Chicago, Illinois from 4-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be on Monday, March 11, 2013 at St. Timothy Church, 6326 N. Washtenaw, Chicago, Illinois at 10 AM. Burial will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois at 1PM with full honors. Arrangements under the direction of Drake & Son Funeral Home, 773-561-6874.
